The third National Battery Recycling and Manufacturing summit was held in Sydney on 17 July.
FCAI director for emerging technologies Richard Delplace attended the summit, alongside several OEM representatives. The summit was a great opportunity to hear about the latest developments in the Australian battery recycling industry.
FCAI sponsored and chaired a panel discussion on how to orchestrate the recovery of end-of-life electric vehicle batteries, with perspectives from Emma McIndoe, managing director of AA Recycling and Pick-A-Part, Shawn Ticehurst, head of IAG Research Centre, and Libby Chaplin, Battery Stewardship Council chief executive officer.
