FCAI releases January 2020 new vehicle sales figures

The Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI) today released the new vehicle sales figures for the month of January 2020, utilising the updated VFACTS reporting system for the first time.

89,199 Motorcycles sold in 2019

Australia’s Motorcycle Market (which includes the ATV/SSV market) fell 6.1 per cent in 2019, with total sales for the full calendar year of 89,199.

Of these almost 1.5 million have been identified with airbag inflators affected by the national safety recall.
