Booming sales of small cars have boosted the Australian new car market to near-record
levels in July.
According the VFACTS figures released today by the Federal Chamber of Automotive
Industries (FCAI), a total of 78,299 cars, trucks and buses were sold last month,
up 1.

Motorcycle sales in Australia grew strongly in the first six months of 2005, according to official industry sales figures released today.
The overall market increased by 8.3 per cent, compared to the same period in 2004.

decision to ban the sale of so-called monkey bikes , provided that the decision
