The Sports Utility Market is up by 17.6 per cent on April 2023 while the Light Commercial market is up by 25.5 per cent on last year’s figures. Passenger vehicles totalled 17,314 vehicles sold, an increase of 14 per cent on April 2023 figures.

In 2024, a total of 401,654 new vehicles have been delivered in Australia. This is an increase of 14.3 per cent compared to the same time last year. To date, SUVs have claimed 57 per cent of the market, Light Commercial Vehicles 23 per cent and passenger vehicles 18 per cent.
