The Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI) has announced the revamp of its longstanding all-terrain vehicle (ATV) safety website, with key training materials and resources now hosted on a refreshed digital platform.
FCAI members no longer supply ATVs to the Australian market, having ceased in 2021, but remain committed to rider safety and the responsible use of ATVs.
To ensure continued public access to vital safety materials, the popular ATV digital training course and safe riding videos have moved to a new dedicated page within the FCAI’s Side-by-Side Safety website.
“The safe use of all-terrain vehicles remains an ongoing priority for our members. While the industry has transitioned away from supplying ATVs to the Australian market, our commitment to rider education and harm prevention continues,” FCAI chief executive Tony Weber said.
The Side-by-Side Safety website supports the safe operation of side-by-side vehicles (SSVs), which have become the primary off-road utility vehicles offered by FCAI members.
By consolidating both ATV and SSV safety resources in one easy-to-access location, the FCAI is helping riders stay informed, prepared and protected.
“Whether you’re an experienced rider or new to off-road vehicles, these training tools and safety videos are a valuable resource. We encourage all riders to visit the site and take advantage of the materials available,” Mr Weber said.
